  35. URL is the term for something limited to an address. URI
  36. means a URL OR something which looks like it but is a name
  37. in an abstract space.  The IETF WG talks about URLs only as
  38. no namespace exists.  [[The URI term has had a hard time as
  39. noone accepts the concept of a (name or address) as some people are
  40. so hot on defending the essential difference of names and addresses]]

  53. Really?  A few months ago (Oct 92, version 1.3a I think)
  54. a shortcut was introduced so that the
  55. -source option pipes the source direct (CRLF and all) to stdout.
  56. "Should work"!  It was particularly needed (and tested)
  57. for postscript. Before, the source was treated as a plain text file,  
  58. and wrapped at the line length.
